Blog The Last Man Standing Awards Survey
We posted an article on May 13th regarding the current situation of PvP at OldSchool. The blog also discussed the Last Man Standing overhaul.
Every minigame comes with rewards Every minigame has rewards, and Last Man Standing is no exception. It shouldn’t be just something that players are eager to invest their time into however, it should also bring advantages beyond the game itself.
This blog will give details about the LMS Reward system, as well as the rewards that are polled. The poll will open on Friday, August 16th until the 21st of August on Wednesday.
Changelog
The addition of Beserker Shield, and poll questions
Poll on Added Upgradeable Cosmetic Poll
Clarification of F2P and. Members Rewards
Clarification on Ironmen access to the system of points exchange
As we’ve previously mentioned, High Stakes and Competitive Games were designed to award players five points for participation in the event, 10 points for each kill, and an additional 30 20 or 10 points for winning first, second, and third.
We have raised some concerns regarding the proposed changes, specifically regarding their bottlerability and boostability. Therefore, we’ve created the following points system to solicit your input:
Players who are placed between 20th and 24th on the list earn 0 points.
Players who finish between the 10th and 19th places in a league can be entitled to 1 point
Players who are placed between 5thand 9th on the list earn 2 points.
The players who finish 3rd or 4th in their respective categories earn 3 points.
Placement 2nd is based on 4 points.
First place with 5 points
Bonus points are awarded according to how many kills you score in a game.
Every player who scores 3 kills in a game gets 1 bonus point
For each player who scores five or more kills in the course of a game, you earn two bonus points
Bonus points are not able to stack with each other. The player will be awarded bonus points at the conclusion of each round, based on their position at the end of the round, as well as any bonus points that are they are applicable. The new system will not give you points unless you’ve played for more than 30 minutes.
Reward Program
These are the rewards Last Man Standing would love to give away. These rewards will be only accessible to members, with the exception for the Deadman Armour and 3 Speed 1 Handed Warrior Beserker Shield and Upgradeable Cosmetic Cape. We will reveal the rewards from the polls that passed as soon as we can. There is a chance that some rewards that are not passed will be available by the date of launch.
Cosmetic Armour for Deadman
There’s an armour set that Deadman players can purchase for blood money. The armour was ineffective since it was not efficient and was easily used for farming. We’d like to take the stats on armour and then bring the three items (top-bottom cape, top-bottom cape) to the Last Man Standing Reward shop for cosmetics.
There are a few items that cannot be traded that are less than 20 Wilderness which aren’t lost at death, will remain in your possession in a damaged form. To repair the damaged version, bring the item to Perdu which is an NPC who will fix the item for a cost.
We suggest the following steps to boost their usage in Wilderness zones:
The Last Man Standing Reward shop allows players to purchase a consumable scroll. Perdu will allow enchantment of the items he normally repair for a fee , if the player comes to his. The enchantment permits the user to increase the value of the item to 20 Wilderness and will not be destroyed if they die. It will be destroyed when the player dies in Wilderness. Even if the player is killed during PvM battle, this could occur. The items won’t be accessible to players who have been Pked. 75 percent of the cost is put to the ground in coins to pay the player.
Each scroll is able to be traded, and it would enchant one item. The enchantment will last until the player passes away.
This could increase the amount of items available in Wilderness and increase the risk for players. The items won’t require to be acquired from players again, which means they don’t need to endure the gruelling grind of Defender, Void, and Void. It is more likely that you will discover them in PvP.
Castle Wars has offered the 3 God Halos rewards for long periods of time. What do you think of other gods? The headwear category has been underrepresented by Armadyl and Bandos Serens, Zaros Serens, Zaros, Brassica, and Serens. We’re offering five new halos to reward you. The halos will have identical to the previous ones and will allow you to support the God you choose.
OldSchool has been playing the Event RPG for a while in the past, as well as the Ham Joint in Treasure Trails Expansion. We’d like to add a new weapon, however one that’s more in line with the thematics of the current weapons from OldSchool. The weapon is designed to attack three times per cycle. It is single-handed and does not have statistics.
Guthixian Icon/Staff Of Balance
The players were offered the chance to add Saradomin’s light the Staff of the Dead in the beginning of the year of 2018. This provided them with an additional option and an extremely powerful magic weapon that could use Saradomin strike. What is Guthix?
This reward allows players to collect the Guthixian Icon and give it to Juna. Juna will then transform the Icon into the Staff of the Dead in order to make the Staff of Balance.
Staff of Balance will have the same abilities and stats like Staff of Light, Staff of the Dead and Staff of the Dead, while also being able to cast or autocast Claws of Guthix.
We’d like to provide points for exchange of XP reward points earned from LMS points earned in the minigame similar to Pest Control. The store will allow players to exchange points for combat abilities that are above 25. This is an expensive alternative than Pest Control’s current offering.
We’d like to provide an exchange system that is similar like that of Barbarian Assault. This will enable you to earn a range of points to be able to play in the loot table. The table is comprised of a range of useful items, materials, and other items. Pets will not be part of the LMS exchange system. Ironmen are not able to exchange points in exchange for crates due fears that they could allow low-level Ironmen easy access (i.e Rune) to items they might not have been allowed access to during the initial game.
The Rune Berserker shield first launched in the year 2008. It is completely free for players. It requires 45 defense to use. After six hours of battle the shield will turn inactive. It is rechargeable by purchasing a token that is available from the Last Man Standing reward shop. The shield is able to be traded. Here are the facts of the shield:
Attack Bonuses Attack Bonuses: 8 Magic 2 Range
Defense Bonuses: +45 Stab and +49 Slash +47 Crumble +47 Rangers, -1 Magic.
Other bonuses include +4 Strength and +0 Prayer. Similar to the caps of achievement in Theatre of Blood or Chambers of Xeric we’d like to provide an adjustable cape that players can get from the Last Man Standing Reward shop. The cape will be changed depending on the number of wins a player has won during the minigame. The tiers will be:
Tier 1: 1 Win
Tier 2: 10 Wins
Tier 3: 50 Wins
Tier 4: 100 Wins
Tier 5: 500 Wins
All caps will be available to players who have earned the amount of winnings required at the store.
We have taken down the Negative XP Lamps and Bolas and Staff of Paralysis, which were previously mentioned in blog posts on reward design. We’ve decided to eliminate the items based on feedback from our users and we may revisit them in the future. We’d like to thank all who have provided feedback and suggestions for rewards options. We would like to hear your feedback about the rewards you selected on the channels below. We will conduct a poll between August 16th, Friday, until Wednesday, August 21st depending on your comments.
